Is OmniChrome really free to start?
Yes. The free plan lets you clip a few videos every month with no card required. Free renders carry a small omnichrome.net watermark.
What removes the watermark?
Any paid plan. Pro ($12.99/month) and Studio ($19.99/month) render clean output, add auto-posting and scheduling, AI titles, and unlimited clipping under fair use.
Is there a usage limit?
Paid plans are unlimited for normal creator use - clip as much as you like. A fair-use ceiling protects the service from automation-scale abuse; almost nobody ever meets it. Failed jobs never count against you.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes - from the Stripe billing portal in Settings, one click. Your plan runs to the end of the paid period and simply doesn't renew.
Who owns the clips?
You do. You keep all rights to the media you upload and everything OmniChrome produces from it.
Which platforms does it work with?
Ingest from YouTube links or direct file upload (MP4, MKV, WebM, MOV). Auto-posting covers YouTube and X today - TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn connections are built and coming soon. Every export downloads as a standard MP4 for anywhere else.
Can I tell the AI what kind of clips I want?
