Terms of Service

1. Who we are

OmniChrome is a media suite — AI clip generation (OmniClipper), a browser video editor (OmniCut), and content project management (OmniManager) — operated by OmniChrome LLC ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using omnichrome.net you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the service. Keep your credentials safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 (or the age of digital consent where you live) and use the service lawfully.

3. Plans, credits, and billing

Usage is metered in prepaid credits. The Free plan includes a monthly credit allotment; paid plans (currently Pro $12.99/month and Studio $19.99/month) add larger allotments and features such as link ingest, platform auto-posting, and watermark-free output. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card number. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled, which you can do any time from the billing portal — cancellation stops future charges and your plan runs to the end of the paid period. Credits reset with each monthly drop and have no cash value. If a job fails, the credits it consumed are automatically refunded to your balance. Beyond that, fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we choose to make it right — write to us and we'll be reasonable.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to media you upload and to the clips and exports the service produces from it. You grant us only the limited license needed to process, store, and deliver that media back to you. You may only submit content you have the right to use — your own recordings, or material you are licensed or otherwise permitted to process. Free-plan renders include a small watermark.

5. Acceptable use

No illegal content, no infringing other people's copyright, no malware, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, no reselling access, and no processing of content depicting child sexual abuse or non-consensual intimate imagery — such accounts are terminated immediately.

6. Storage and retention

Rendered clips on the Free plan are retained for 30 days; paid-plan clips are retained while your subscription is active. Source video staged for processing is transient (up to 14 days depending on plan) and cleaned up automatically. Deleting your account removes your stored media.

7. Third-party platforms

If you connect YouTube or X accounts, posting happens under those platforms' terms using credentials you authorize; you can disconnect them at any time. We are not responsible for third-party platform decisions.

8. Copyright complaints (DMCA)

If you believe content processed through the service infringes your copyright, email support@omnichrome.net with the material identified, your contact details, and a good-faith statement. We remove infringing material and terminate repeat infringers.

9. Service changes and availability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We work to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we may change or discontinue features. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Sections 4, 8, and 9 survive termination.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
