Privacy Policy
What we collect
Account data: your email address and authentication data (managed by our authentication provider). Your media: videos you upload or ingest, and the clips, captions, transcripts, and exports produced from them. Usage data: job and credit history (what ran, when, how many credits), and standard server logs (IP address, user agent) kept for security and debugging. Billing data: handled by our payment processor — we store your subscription state and a payment-processor customer reference, never your card number. We use Google's advertising tag on this site solely to measure signups that come from our ads (it sets a Google cookie; see Google's privacy policy). We use no other analytics scripts or trackers.
How your media is processed
To produce clips and captions, audio from your media is transcribed and the resulting transcript text is analyzed by trusted third-party processors acting on our behalf. Your raw video stays on our infrastructure; only audio for transcription and transcript text leave it, solely to provide the service. If you connect a social account, clips are posted only to the platforms you choose.
Retention
Free-plan clips are kept 30 days; paid-plan clips while your subscription is active. Staged source video is transient (1–14 days by plan). Account and billing records are kept while your account exists. Deleting your account removes your stored media; write to us to exercise deletion.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data — email support@omnichrome.net and we will act within 30 days. If you connected YouTube or X, you can revoke access in those platforms' settings at any time.
Security
Transport is TLS-encrypted; access tokens are verified server-side on every request; per-user data is isolated by verified identity. No internet service can promise perfect security — we notify affected users of any breach we become aware of.
Children
The service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
