AI instructions
A plain-English box in the composer that steers both which moments get picked and how the words are written.
What it can steer
- Selection - "only clip the cooking segments", "skip the sponsor reads", "prefer moments where the guest talks".
- Titles & descriptions - "keep titles professional, no clickbait", "write descriptions in French", "include a short quote in every description".
- Hashtags - "always include #fitness and #gymtok", "no more than three hashtags".
Instructions steer the AI's choices - they can't change output formats or platform rules, and they work best as short, concrete directions (there's an 800-character limit for a reason).
Save a brand voice
Click Save as default and your instructions pre-fill every future job - set your voice once and forget it. Whatever is in the box at submit time always wins, so you can override the default for a one-off job by just typing over it.
Mode notes
- Topics and moments - instructions steer selection and all generated text.
- Clip anything - instructions steer selection only (this mode doesn't draft text).
- Transcribe - not applicable; the transcript is verbatim.
Very narrow instructions can genuinely match
nothing - "only clip moments about quantum computing" on a cooking video
will fail after transcription with no clips found. Loosen the instruction
and resubmit; the FAQ covers this failure.
