Clip modes & sources

Three ways to cut a video, and every way to get one in.

The three modes

ModeBest forWhat it does
Topics Podcasts, interviews, commentary Transcribes the video, finds self-contained discussion moments, scores them for shareability, and renders vertical clips with word-timed captions plus drafted titles, descriptions and hashtags.
Moments Gameplay, streams, fast reactions The classic cut - detects high-energy moments and renders them fast. Renders without captions; use Topics (or restyle in OmniCut) when you want burned-in captions.
Clip anything Music, b-roll, visual content, mixed media Doesn't rely on speech: finds visually strong segments in any footage. When there is speech it captions it; silent footage renders clean.

Sources

Channel pages and @handle links aren't supported - the pipeline needs a specific video or playlist. If a link is rejected, open the video itself and copy that URL.

Clip length

A dual-handle slider in the composer sets the minimum and maximum clip length, from short punchy cuts up to 15-minute segments. The AI picks natural start and end points inside your range, so clips end on a complete thought instead of mid-sentence.
