Transcripts
Sometimes you don't want clips - you want the words. The Transcribe tab turns any video or audio into text.
How it works
- Open the composer and switch to the Transcribe tab.
- Paste a video link or upload a file. Audio formats work here too: MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, FLAC, OGG and Opus - handy for podcast masters and voice memos.
- Submit. Only the audio is fetched and processed, so transcript jobs are faster than clip jobs on the same video.
What you get
- Plain text (
.txt) - the full transcript for show notes, blog posts or summaries. - Subtitles (
.srt) - ready to upload to YouTube or import into any editor. - Word timings (
.json) - per-word timestamps for precision editing workflows.
All three download from the project card, with a preview inline. If the media contains no detectable speech, the job tells you so instead of returning an empty file.
Transcription is built into every clip job as well -
each finished project also offers its full transcript for download. Use
the Transcribe tab when the transcript is all you want.
